General Questions

Section titled “What is Knotless?”Knotless is an all-in-one booking management platform designed for wedding and event professionals. It helps you manage bookings, build email templates, create pages and proposals, automate workflows, track invoices, and grow your business.
Who is Knotless for?
Section titled “Who is Knotless for?”Knotless is built for anyone providing services for weddings and events:

How much does Knotless cost?
Section titled “How much does Knotless cost?”Knotless offers three subscription plans:

Is there a free trial?
Section titled “Is there a free trial?”Yes, all new accounts get a free trial of Premium features. No credit card required to start.
Is there a mobile app?
Section titled “Is there a mobile app?”A native mobile app for iOS and Android is in development. In the meantime, the web app works well on mobile browsers.
Account Questions
Section titled “Account Questions”How do I reset my password?
Section titled “How do I reset my password?”- Go to Sign In
- Click Forgot Password
- Enter your email address
- Check your inbox for a reset link
- Click the link and set a new password
Can I change my email address?
Section titled “Can I change my email address?”- Go to Settings → Profile
- Update your email address
- Verify the new email via the confirmation link
How do I delete my account?
Section titled “How do I delete my account?”Contact support at support@knotless.co.uk to request account deletion.
Account deletion is permanent. All your data including bookings, templates, and pages will be permanently removed.
Feature Questions
Section titled “Feature Questions”What’s the difference between Email Templates and Pages?
Section titled “What’s the difference between Email Templates and Pages?”- Email Templates are designed for emails sent to clients. They use the drag-and-drop email builder with blocks like Text, Image, Button, and Columns.
- Pages are rich web documents shared via a link. They support Video, Terms Forms, and Decline Buttons. Use pages for proposals, contracts, and welcome packs.
How do workflows work?
Section titled “How do workflows work?”Workflows automate routine tasks. You set a trigger (e.g., “when a booking is created”), add actions (e.g., “send a welcome email”), and the workflow runs automatically. See Workflows for details.
Can my clients see their bookings?
Section titled “Can my clients see their bookings?”Yes. Clients can sign in to the Client Portal to see all their bookings from different providers on Knotless. They can also view your recommended suppliers.
How do enquiry forms work?
Section titled “How do enquiry forms work?”You can set up a customisable contact form that potential clients use to enquire about your services. The form creates a new booking automatically. See Enquiry Forms for details.
Data & Privacy
Section titled “Data & Privacy”Is my data secure?
Section titled “Is my data secure?”Yes. Knotless uses industry-standard security measures:
- All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
- Data is encrypted at rest
- Authentication handled by Clerk
- GDPR compliant
Can I export my data?
Section titled “Can I export my data?”Yes, you can export your booking data. Go to the Bookings page and use the export function.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Section titled “What happens to my data if I cancel?”If you cancel your subscription:
- Your data is retained for 30 days
- You can export your data during this period
- After 30 days, data is permanently deleted
